6^th Year Graduation:

We congratulate the class of 2024 as they attended their Graduation Ceremony in Clonard Church yesterday, Thursday, 23 May. We thank all who took part in this special evening. We extend a special word of thanks to Clonard parish, Fr. Jim and the RE and Music Departments.

TY Trip:

Our TY students are currently in Italy on their foreign tour. We thank all accompanying teachers for ensuring it is a smooth and enjoyable trip!

Special Olympics Bake Sale: Report by Yosra El Hussein:

On Thursday 16^th of May the Inclusion Committee organised a Bake Sale for Special Olympics. Special Olympics is global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, regardless of ability or disability. The Special Olympics movement represents 3.9 million athletes in 227 national and state programmes operating in 177 countries and jurisdictions that host in 46,000 annual competitions. The Wexford team usually trains in our school, so we wanted to make our connections with them stronger. The Inclusion Committee raised €150 for this worthy cause. This will be added to the money raised by 2^nd years. We knew 2^nd year did their CBA project on Special Olympics with Ms. Pheasey so we decided to unite with them. Marry Barrett from Special Olympics visited Loreto earlier this year and spoke to all 2^nd year classes. Students also displayed posters around the school to educate the students on the work of Special Olympics. Thank you to all students and staff members for supporting this important work.
