We welcome you to Loreto Secondary School.
As part of a network of schools, we are proud to be part of a hard-working, dynamic, and caring Loreto community. Our school is home to just over 900 pupils and almost 80 staff. Our website provides an overview of daily life here in Loreto. Whether you’re looking for specific information or dropping in to see the latest news, I hope you find our page informative and easy to navigate.
Our key values of Truth, Freedom, Justice, Sincerity and Joy are at the heart of all of our activities, practices and policies. As Christian educators, we aim to educate, empower, and inspire our students so that they can leave here prepared for the future. We do so on a school campus equipped with modern facilities, offering the broadest possible curriculum. Alongside a strong tradition of high-quality teaching and learning, all students are encouraged to avail of the wide variety of co and extra-curricular activities.
A key part of our what we do is to care for those who may need extra support. Our Special Education Team, Class Teachers, Year Heads and Guidance Counsellors are on hand to offer assistance and support. We believe that we have robust structures in place to support each student as they journey through their secondary education with us.
We are proud of our students and their achievements whether they be in the classroom, on stage or on a playing field. None of this would be possible without a caring, focussed, and dedicated team of teachers and support staff. It is an honour to work with them.
