1 September 2017
Commencement
The school is now up and running for the new year with all 750 students fully-accounted for at this stage.
We are very appreciative of the work and support of families in equipping their daughters so well for school in terms of uniform, books and copies.
Our new Deputy Principal, Mr. John Mc Ginnity, is settling in very well and getting to know all members of our school community. As part of his special responsibilities he will be liaising very closely with the Parents’ Council.
There are no new faces at teaching staff level this year. All teachers look forward to working closely with their students to ensure that they are as happy and successful as possible during the year.
Building updates
Excellent progress continues to be made on the building of our new school. We expect to make the move to Pembroke Hill in late November 2017.
Because of the increased student enrolment this September, two additional classrooms have been provided on a temporary basis beside the existing Teach Mhuire building. These rooms are a lot nicer than some of those in the main building!
