School News

The school commends Eve Donohoe (5th Year) on winning the National Vocal Rose Bowl in The National Concert Hall recently. Accompanied on piano by her cousin Gracie Cunningham (3rd Year), Eve was invited to the National Concert Hall to sing 2 pieces in the Irish language, as part of the Feis Ceoil Young Platform Series. Featuring soloists, choirs and ensembles across all disciplines of classical music, the series was a showcase of some of the most outstanding winners from Feis Ceoil 2022. This was a tremendous honour for Eve, and we congratulate her on this outstanding success.

Congratulations to Lèa Bolger on her gold medal in the national community games. Together with her teammates from Glynn/Barntown, Lèa won through after an intense competition, beating 16 other counties represented.

Well done to Isabelle Carty who has been selected as an under-16 goalkeeper for the South Leinster Interprovincial Hockey Team. Good luck to Isabelle and the team.

Congratulations to Robyn O’Connor on being selected for the Ireland 7s squad for the Rugby Europe under-18 7s Championship in Prague.
