Welcome Back

A warm welcome back to all members of the Loreto school community. In particular, I welcome staff and students joining us for the first time.

Head Girls, 2022/23

Emma O’ Leary and Grace O’ Brien will be our Head Girls for the upcoming school year. They look forward to representing the school community and we wish them well in this important leadership role.

School News

An important letter to families in relation to our new Board of Management has been posted online. I draw your attention to its contents.

The school extends its best wishes to the Leaving Certificate class of 2022. They will receive their results at 10 am tomorrow morning. Guidance Counsellors will be available over the coming days to support students with any queries they may have.

As we migrate the whole school community to VS Ware, I ask all parents/guardians to download the VS Ware app. If you have any issues with the software, please contact the school.

Supervised Study will commence next Monday, 5 September. Full details are available on our website and from Mr. Usher or Mr. Laffan.

The next meeting of the Parents’ Council will take place on Monday, 5 September at 18.30 in the school. All parents are invited to attend, and the meeting will last no longer than one hour.
