Wexford Schools Cross Country

The annual Wexford Schools Cross Country was held in Good Counsel College, New Ross on Wednesday, 30 November. The junior team continued their success and won the team gold continuing on from winning it at minor last year. Danika Gilshinan came 2nd, Roisin O’Reilly 4th, Aisling Kelly 6th, Aoife O’Connor 10th and Grace Roche 11th to claim the top team. Emily McMillan came 10th in the senior girls race and Eve Scallan was 37th in the minor girls.

Congratulations to all the girls who took part.

Marine Watch

All Transition Year students recently enjoyed an informative talk by Frank Flanagan and George Lawlor from Wexford Marine Watch.

Women’s Refuge 

Transition Year students recently spent some time in the Women’s Refuge finding out about the amazing service that this centre provides for the community.

• The school’s Academic Council holds its next meeting on Wednesday, 14 December. The meeting will finalise arrangements for the presentation of Academic Awards at a Reception in the school on Monday, 19 December at 6.00 p.m. and for the public recognition of all winners at the Carol Service on Wednesday, 19 December.

• All students will be able to access their Christmas Report on ePortal on and from Thursday, 15 December.
