News round up

  • The school will be closed on Friday and Monday, 17 and 20 March. We wish all members of the school community an enjoyable St. Patrick’s Day.
  • A meeting will be held in the school at 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 21 March for the parents of 4th year students travelling on the school tour to Lake Garda at Easter.
  • Thank you to the 60 parents who attended a general information meeting in the school last Monday. Updates were given by Mr. O’ Shea (Principal) on a range of issues facing the school and Irish education generally. A similar meeting will be held in the autumn.
  • The school is presently advertising for the position of a second deputy principal with effect from 1 September 2017.
  • An evaluation of the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) in the school will be conducted by a Department of Education and Skills inspector on Friday, 24 March.
