Subject Choice Meetings

Next week is a very busy one on the school calendar as 1st and 4th year students, along with parents/guardians, begin the important process of selecting optional subjects for 2nd and 5th years respectively. To aid this process, information meetings will be held for parents on Monday evening next from 17.30 and for students on Tuesday morning, followed by a Subject Fair on Friday next when current 5th and 6th year students provide subject insights for the 4th year students.

Information Meeting for incoming 1st year students and their parents

Approximately 450 people will attend an important Information Meeting for incoming 1st year students and their parents on Tuesday next, 21 January at 18.00 in the Sports Hall. Addressed by the Principal, Deputy Principals and Head Girls, the meeting will be briefed on many aspects of life for a Loreto student, with particular emphasis on what the girls can expect in 1st year.

Loreto Debating Society

The newly-established Loreto Debating Society has been meeting every Monday since last September. The enthusiastic members have been given a short workshop on debating skills and have held four debates. The plan for the second term is to stage a debating competition featuring eight teams of three members each.

All students are warmly invited to participate in debating activities.
