17th April 2026

Huge congratulations to our equestrian teams who travelled to Kildare for the final of the Equestrian Interschools Ireland Showjumping League.

After a successful year of competition, our Open team of Amy, Aoife, Freya and Hannah Rose secured first place, bringing home the national title. Not to be outdone, our Novice team of Caitlin, Izzy, Ruby and Shannon also claimed first place in the league final.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that Loreto Wexford has taken home the Novice national title—an incredible achievement.

Well done and congratulations to all of our equestrian students who represented the school so proudly throughout the year.

In five weeks’ time (Wednesday, 20th May), Fifth year students will begin their summer exams. First and second year students will begin two days later, on Friday, 22nd May.

To help everyone get organised this week:

• All students will be given a topic table where they can list the topics they need to revise for each subject and tick them off as they progress over the coming weeks. A copy of this has also been posted on your Loreto Study Hub Team.

• Create a study schedule outlining when you will set aside time to prepare for your exams. Be sure to include time for your extra-curricular activities as well.

• We would also like to remind students to make use of their upgraded Studyclix Complete account and their free trial of ExamRevision.ie to support their revision.
