Loreto Wexford’s A Minor team delivered a strong performance in the Leinster Final, ultimately finishing as runners-up after a hard-fought 2–1 defeat to Scoil Mhuire Longford. Amy Hatchell was on target for Loreto, scoring the team’s goal in a determined display. While the result did not go out way, the squad can take immense pride in their achievement of finishing second in Leinster, a testament to their dedication, skill and teamwork throughout the season. Sincere thanks are extended to all the players and management for their commitment and efforts, which made this campaign such a success.

A huge well done to our under-14 camogie team on a fantastic win in their second group game against FCJ Bunclody this week.

This result sees the girls progress to the next stage of the competition. Congratulations to all the players on a brilliant performance!

Semi-final bound! Our Under-14 footballers had a terrific win on Wednesday in the quarter final of their Leinster championship defeating Coláiste Bríde Enniscorthy in very blustery conditions.

The girls kicked some outstanding football and racked up a big score on their way to a convincing win.

We now await our semi-final fixture which will take place in the coming weeks.

Well done girls!

Congratulations to the eleven Loreto players who were part of the Sarsfields LFGA team that recently won the Féile Shield Final.

Our fifth- and sixth-year Agricultural Science students took part in two farm walks on Tues. They visited a dairy farm, where they learned about the milking process, silage production, dairy breeds and genotyping.

They also visited a beef and tillage farm, where they explored topics including beef production, animal housing, grass growth, ration ingredients and soil profiles. A big thank you to our farmers for welcoming us.

Congratulations to the class of 3.4 who won the annual third year dance competition! All classes choreographed and performed their dances this afternoon in front of our judges Glenda, Sam and Ms Byrne. Congratulations to all the girls for their effort and work they out into it.

Congratulations to past student Robyn O’Connor who made her Ireland debut in the Six Nations meeting with Italy in Galway. Robyn has been selected to play on the left wing.
