Leaving Certificate results
The school extends its best wishes to the Class of 2021 who will receive their Leaving Certificate results online this morning from 10.00. These students have overcome great disruption to their education over the last 18 months. We now hope that they will move both happily and with increased resilience to the next stage of their young lives.
Guidance Counsellors will continue to be available to support the students in any way possible in the coming days and weeks.
We commend our 870 students for their excellent attendance at Introduction Meetings over the last few days. These meetings cleared the way for the full commencement of classes for all students on and from Wednesday, 1 September.
An Information Meeting for parents of students in Transition Year (TY) will be held on Teams at 17.30 on Wednesday, 8 September. Further details will be issued by the TY co-ordinating team.
Evening Study begins on Monday, 6 September. Full details are available on the school website under the Administration tab or from Mr. Usher and Mr. Laffan.
The School Planning Group, made up of student, staff and parent representatives, will meet every Thursday from 15.10 to 15.45, beginning on 9 September. The group will review school policy in several areas and will also lead the research and discussion into new areas of development. Regular updates will be provided on this website.
