Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA) Certificates:
Congratulations to all TY students who were presented with their JCPA certificates this week. The JCPA captures their Junior Cycle results, results of the Classroom Based Assessments and other aspects of school life including participation in extracurricular activities. We thank Ms. M. Jordan and Ms. Kinsella for their work in compiling the certificates.
Under- 14 Football Victory:
The Leinster championship started this week and the Loreto team recorded a strong victory over Colaiste Bride, Carnew. The final score was 5-9 to 4-6. We thank Mr. E. Cummins and Mr. Broderick for their ongoing work with the team.
Agricultural Science Trip:
Agricultural Science has been a timetabled subject in Loreto since 2021. It continues to go from strength to strength and, this week, the 5th year students had the opportunity to visit a beef and tillage farm in Rathnure. All enjoyed the trip immensely and we thank Ms. Flynn for organising it and Mr. J. Cummins for attending also.
Junk Kouture Regional Finals:
Best wishes to Aoife Walsh and Maria Coone as they represent the school in the Helix, Dublin at the regional finals of Junk Kouture next Monday. We thank Ms. Martin and Ms. Howlin for their work on the programme.
