As we begin the new year, we extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students.
Leaving Certificate 2023
We congratulate our Leaving Certificate class of 2023 on their outstanding results, released to them last Friday, 25 August. While we have a large number of students who received over 550 points, I wish to acknowledge the efforts of the whole year group in achieving their best possible results. In particular, I wish to pay tribute to those who overcome significant personal challenges to reach the end of the education.
First Year Induction, 2023/24
As part of their Induction into secondary school, our 1st Year students attended an Activity Camp on Monday and Tuesday, 20 and 21 August. The aim of this was to support the transition from primary to secondary school and allow the students get to know their classmates in advance of classes starting. I thank all of the organising teachers for taking the time to facilitate this new initiative.
Open Night
On Thursday, 28 September 2023, Loreto will open its doors to 5th and 6th class pupils. Our Open Night will run from 18.00 – 20.00 and will give all parents/guardians and their daughters the opportunity to meet with the staff and students. We will issue more details closer to the day itself.
