6th year Wellbeing Day

The school has been organising a dedicated Wellbeing Day for 6th year students for a long number of years at this stage. This year’s event takes place today.

Organised by the Guidance Department, the day features a series of workshops in the following areas:

  • Art Therapy
  • Mindfulness
  • Dance Fitness
  • Brazilian Zamba Drumming
  • Nutrition
  • Reflexology

Some of the workshops are facilitated by Loreto staff, others by outside experts.

The day is only part of the school’s overall programme of support for its students, full details of which may be found in the Guidance section of our website.

We wish the students well as they take a well-deserved break from their normal studies.

Una Walsh (2nd year student) to appear on the Late Late Toy Show

The full school community will be cheering on Una Walsh from 2nd year who will feature prominently on this evening’s Late Late Toy Show. The school is very proud of Una and we know that she will do very well on the show.

Una has promised to write a piece on her experience which we will share on our website next Friday.
