Open Night 2023
Final preparations for our Open Night are now at an advanced stage. We warmly welcome all 5th and 6th class pupils to our school in order to view our facilities, hear about the subjects we offer and meet our committed staff. The event will begin at 18.00. The Principal’s Address will take place at 18.30 and 19.30. We look forward to meeting all families and answering any queries you may have.
Admissions to 1st Year, 2024/25
The school will accept application forms in respect of incoming first years from 08.30 on Monday, 2 October until 16.00 on Monday, 23 October 2023. All relevant details can be found on our website.
Ploughing Trip
Despite the early start and the challenging weather, our 5th and 6th Year Agricultural Science classes had an enjoyable day at the annual Ploughing Championships in Co. Laois. Thanks to Ms. Finnerty and Ms. Flynn for accompanying the groups.
German Exchange
Our long established German exchange programme continues to develop. On Monday, 18 September, students from St. Ursula Schulen Villinngen arrived to Loreto. Accompanied by Loreto students and students from Wexford CBS, the group have been busy exploring the South East with trips to Johnstown Castle, New Ross and Hook Head. Our thanks to the German Department for providing the warm welcome and for organising each event.
