Our thanks also to the hard-working members of the Parents’ Council for providing refreshments to the hundreds of parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who attended.

Start of Year Mass

With the inclement weather preventing us going to Clonard Church, the decision was made to hold our Mass in the Sports Hall. Despite the change of venue, the ceremony was no less special as we heard beautiful reflections, music and readings. A special word of thanks is extended to our Music and RE departments, the students who participated in the ceremony and Fr. Jim Fegan. In his address, Mr. Mc Ginnity emphasised the importance of looking out for those who are most vulnerable and those who may feel lonely. The value of encouraging others to do their best, rather than striving for perfection, was highlighted as key value in the Loreto tradition.
