Childhood Cancer Ireland 


In memory of Naomi Howlin, staff and students braved the Ice Bucket Challenge on Tuesday to support Childhood Cancer Ireland and a teen room at Wexford General. We marked Naomi Howlin’s anniversary by unveiling a jersey in her honour. Over €15000 has been raised to date between the coffee morning in the Garden Cafe in Rosslare and the raffle. Well done to all involved.

Loreto Pilgrimage to Knock

Our 5th year Ember Team and John Paul II group travelled to Knock for the Loreto Pilgrimage which took place yesterday. Each Loreto secondary school in Ireland was brought together by the Loreto Trust for this special day of community and celebration.

Cerebral Palsy article ‘Wexford People’.

Loreto Drama Club 

Loreto’s Drama Club will be hosting a showcase at 5pm today to display their work during the year. Entry is free, and we hope to see you there for what promises to be an incredible evening of entertainment! 

Soccer 

A big well done to the five Loreto students Aoibheann Clarke, Tara Devereux, Ava Hendrick, Ciara Murphy & Ella Martin who won the Wexford League Youths Premier Division title with All Blacks AFC over the Easter holidays.  A huge achievement by all involved! 

Best of luck to our Senior Soccer Team as they take on Loreto Navan in the Leinster Semi-Final today in Greystones! We’re proud of all your hard work—go out and give it your best!

LCA Hair and Beauty 

Our fifth year LCA Hair & Beauty class were fortunate to welcome past pupil & beauty therapist Eve Scallan this week. Eve taught the students how to carry out a manicure & apply Shellac & the students interviewed her about her work & career. Thank you @beautybyeve1 

JLTI Japanese Language Contest

Congratulations to Sreelakshmy Bino and Jina Cronin on their success in the JLTI Japanese Language Contest! Sreelakshmy received the Language Achievement Award and Jina was honoured with a Special Mention in the sixth year category.
