Students’ Council
The Students’ Council is very active already this year. Members have had their “bonding day” as well as a series of meetings with the liaison teacher, Ms. J. Byrne. They will shortly participate in the annual Comhairle na nÓg and will travel to Dublin next week to join council members from other Loreto schools nationwide in a special training day.
At school level, the students are planning for “Random Acts of Kindness Week” next month and for a series of mental health and wellbeing initiatives later in the year.
Mr. O’ Shea (Principal) meets with the council each month and is very keen to encourage and support the members in all their endeavours.

Outstanding Junior Certificate Business success
The school is particularly pleased with the excellent results achieved by its students across all subjects in this year’s Junior Certificate examinations.
Of particular note is the high number of students – 15 – who recently travelled to Waterford to receive awards from the Business Teachers’ Association as a result of receiving an “A” grade in Business.
The school warmly congratulates these students and their teachers on their great success.
