Leinster Final:

After a tremendous season, the final of the Leinster Senior camogie campaign concluded with a victory for Loreto, Kilkenny. A goal for the Kilkenny side just before half-time proved the turning point as our girls kept well in touch throughout a strong first half. Despite soft conditions, both teams gave their all and it wasn’t to be for us this time around. We congratulate the players and management team on their commitment and dedication throughout the season. We know that there is more to come from this squad

Cross Country:

The school enjoyed considerable success at the Wexford Cross Country finals in Ferns on Wednesday, 15 January. We collected the overall school title and numerous individual and team awards. Well done to all and thanks to Mr. O’ Sullivan and Ms. Shannon for bringing the students.

Best wishes:

After a strong 3 – 1 victory over St. Leo’s College, Carlow on Wednesday, 15 January, our Senior – A hockey team will meet familiar opposition on Friday, 17 January. The match against Loreto, Kilkenny will take place on Friday, 17 January on our home pitch. We wish the team, Ms. Mullen and Ms. Kennedy, every success.

The committee would like to thank renowned author, Caroline Busher, for presenting a creative writing workshop with all TY classes on Tuesday, 14 January. Students will now apply the skills learned to write their own pieces.
