Paris Trip
Last week’s senior trip to Paris was unforgettable.
Day 1 took us to the Cité des Sciences et de l’industrie, Galeries Lafayette-Haussmann and the metro in between.
Day 2 was pure magic at Disneyland.
Day 3 brought incredible views from Montparnasse Tower, inspiration at the Musée d’Orsay, a walking tour of Notre Dame and a visit to the Army Museum and Napoleon’s Tomb at Invalides.
We wrapped up the trip with a River Seine cruise, time at the Musée du Louvre and the journey home.
Football
A big congratulations to current Sixth-Year student and Loreto’s senior football captain, Sarah Cousins, who will be representing the Wexford Ladies’ Footballers in 2026. A member of the Wexford minor team in 2025, it is great to see her making the step-up to the adult inter-county team.
Sarah has always been very committed and dedicated to Ladies’ Football in Loreto and we are all very proud of this achievement!
Creative Writers
Congratulations to our creative writers who recently took part in the Christmas creative writing competition. The competition was judged by Ms. Lawler and Mr. Goff who were highly impressed with the standard of all the entries. The winners were Lucy Lawler (Senior) and Stella Smith (Junior). Runners up were Aine Ferriter (Senior) and Jessica Cyril (Junior). Well done to all and keep telling those stories!

Today we celebrate the value Joy as we mark Mary Ward’s 441st Birthday. Today we’re encouraging you to do one small thing to bring joy to another person – we guarantee you’ll feel the joy too!
