Junk Kouture Success:

We congratulate Aoife Walsh and Maria Coone on their success in reaching the Junk Kouture Final, held in the RDS on Tuesday, 1 October. After winning through last year, the girls represented the school with distinction. We thank Ms. Howlin and Ms. Martin for supporting them throughout.

First Year Retreats:

As part of their ongoing induction into the school, 1st year students have been enjoying a one-day trip to The Parable Gardens for their annual retreat day. The remaining groups will attend over the next couple of weeks. We thank their teachers and Meitheal leaders for accompanying them.

Sports Updates:

  • Well done to our rugby 7’s teams as they won all three games at a recent blitz in Carlow.
  • Our TY football team had a strong victory over Creagh College, Gorey in the first round of a new competition for TY students.
  • As training and competitions continue, we thank all teachers for giving their time to train and accompany each group. Without their dedication, the opportunities to represent the school would not be possible.

We held another very successful Open Night last Thursday, 26 September. I wish to thank all students who volunteered to be here on the night to provide tours and represent the different subject areas.
