Welcome First Years 2026

We are thrilled to share that our first-year students have been enthusiastically settling into their new school environment over the past two weeks! Their transition from primary to secondary school has been a wonderful journey, marked by engaging experiences such as our two days of camp and their inaugural day last Thursday. This week, we have focused on four key principles that we believe will guide them as they embark on this exciting new chapter:

Ask Questions: Curiosity is the cornerstone of learning! Asking questions helps you to grow and understand the world around you. Remember, there are no silly questions!

Embrace Mistakes: We celebrate mistakes as valuable lessons. Each mistake is an opportunity for growth and understanding, so we encourage students to view them positively.

Try Your Best: Effort is what truly counts. We remind the girls that striving for their personal best is much more important than achieving perfection on the first try.

Be Kind: Kindness is essential in our school community. We encourage our students to treat their classmates and teachers with kindness each and every day.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers and Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) who played a vital role in making our induction camp a success. A special thank you goes to our wonderful Meitheal leaders, who have been guiding the girls every step of the way and will continue to provide support in the weeks to come.
