Congratulations to Anna Radford in third year who won her first International competition in Millstreet last weekend. She was competing in the Connolly’s Red Mills CCCIP2*-S. A fantastic achievement, well done!

Our Transition Year students recently enjoyed an unforgettable school tour to Barcelona.

The trip began with a bus tour taking in some of the city’s most famous sights including Sagrada Família and the historic La Monumental bullring. Students also visited Montserrat and its beautiful basilica before exploring the vibrant atmosphere of La Rambla.

A highlight of the tour was a fantastic day at PortAventura World where everyone enjoyed the rides and attractions. The final day included time at Maremàgnum before travelling home with many great memories made.

A wonderful experience for all involved and a fantastic opportunity for students to explore the culture, history and atmosphere of Barcelona

We celebrated the achievements of our fourth year students on Monday as they marked the end of a memorable and successful Transition Year journey. The Transition Year Ceremony was filled with awards, entertainment, and inspiring speeches from our coordinators and principal, reflecting on the many accomplishments, experiences, and personal growth of the students throughout the year.

Following the ceremony, students enjoyed a well-deserved breakfast together before setting off to Kilkenny for their end-of-year overnight camping trip — a fitting way to finish a year full of learning, friendship, and new experiences.

Congratulations to all of the girls on completing Transition Year. Thank you for the cooperation, kindness, enthusiasm, and positivity you have shown throughout the year. You have made a wonderful contribution to school life, and we are incredibly proud of all you have achieved.

We wish you all a relaxing, enjoyable, and safe summer break.

Wishing the very best of luck to Lea Bolger as she competes in the Hammer event at the Schools All-Ireland Championships this weekend in Tullamore.

Today marks the end of our summer exams and we would like to wish the entire Loreto Wexford community a wonderful summer filled with adventure, relaxation and sunshine.

State Exam Timetables can be found in the calendar section of our website or by clicking here

Finally, our official school calendar for 2026-2027 with return dates will issue in the coming weeks.
