Congratulations to our First Year camogie team on capturing the Wexford county title today with a superb 5-3 to 4-4 victory over Coláiste Bríde, Enniscorthy. Some fantastic shots of the game can be seen on our facebook page.

On Monday we saw our annual Teachers vs Students rounders match, and despite numerous desperate attempts at cheating that would put a certain Manchester soccer club to shame, the teachers emerged as emphatic winners, crushing the students 67–0 to extend their unbeaten record, stretching all the way back to 1927.

Commiserations to the students on a truly humiliating defeat and congratulations to the glorious teachers on a hugely popular victory.

More pictures of the event are available on our facebook page.

We were delighted to welcome Bishop Ger Nash and our chaplain Fr Jim Fegan for their annual visit to wish our 6th years well. Bishop Ger spoke to the students about the importance of discovering who you are as a person, how school life contributes to this and about keeping the leaving cert exams in perspective. His visit marks the beginning of a number of events for 6th years, marking their transition from secondary school. Thank you Bishop Ger and Fr Jim.

Congratulations to Lèa Bolger on winning the Senior Hammer in a very cold Tullamore on Monday

Lèa now progresses to the All-Ireland Finals, which will take place in Tullamore in two weeks’ time. We wish her the very best of luck!

Last Friday our sixth year students had their class photographs taken outside the school. They’ll very soon put away the brown uniform for the final time and officially be our former pupils.

Leaving cert Applied 2 enjoy a celebratory end of school meal out in the Whitford House Hotel on Monday. We are so proud of our amazing sixth year LCA students and a special shout out to Emily Connors who was awarded LCA student of the year.

A bitter sweet ceremony yesterday evening as we bid farewell to our class of 2026. The theme “Reeling in the Years” ensured there wasn’t a dry eye in the church. See a sample of some of the photos available on our facebook below. Please also see our Facebook for some great videos of performances on the night.
