Athletes
Outstanding performances from our Senior Girls athletes this week.
Congratulations to:
• Lea Bolger — Gold medal in the Senior Girls Hammer and Silver medal in Shot Putt. Lea has also qualified for the Leinster Finals in Tullamore next week, a fantastic achievement.
• Maria Coone — Bronze medal in the Senior Girls 3000m following an excellent performance on the track.
• Aoife Walsh — Bronze medal in the Senior Girls 400m with a strong and determined run.
Best of luck to Lea in the Leinster Finals next week.

Camogie
Hard luck to our under-14 camogie team. The girls lost out to a very strong Presentation Kilkenny side in yesterday’s Leinster semi-final.
It was a tough match, but the team battled hard right to the very end and represented the school with great determination and spirit.
A huge thank you to all the girls for their effort, commitment, and dedication to school camogie throughout the year. We are very proud of you all!

Football
Best of luck to the U14 Ladies’ Football team who will compete in the Leinster Final on Monday! An introduction to the panel can be found on our Facebook page.
Soccer
Commiserations to our first year soccer team who lost out to a strong Scoil Chríost Rí side in Tuesday’s Leinster Shield Semi-Final.
Well done to all the girls and coaches for their effort and dedication all season!

2.5 CSPE Action Project
A huge thank you to Niall O’Muiri from the Wexford Mental Health Association for visiting our school and speaking with all second-year students about the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
In addition to organising our guest speaker, class 2.5 proudly organised a whole-school non-uniform day as part of their CSPE Action Project, raising an incredible €328.86 for the Wexford Mental Health Association.
Well done to all involved for making such a positive impact in our school community!

Inclusion Committee
Members of the Inclusion Committee were delighted to attend the Intercultural Day in Selskar College on Wednesday morning with Ms Culleton. Selskar College is a fellow Champion School of Sanctuary and celebrated 45 different cultures. Many thanks to Ms Keogh and the staff of Selskar College for their warm welcome.

Leinster Senior Camogie
Last week, sixth-year student Layla Stafford took a rare and well-earned break from the books to pick up the hurley and play a starring role for the Wexford camógs as they defeated Dublin after extra time in the Leinster Senior Camogie Final, 1-21 to 0-21.
Also involved with the group is teacher Tomás Aspel, who serves as a selector with Wexford, while a number of past students were also part of the victorious panel.
All of us here in Loreto extend our heartfelt congratulations to Layla, Tomás and the entire Wexford senior camogie team on a fantastic achievement.
