School News

  • The school is delighted to congratulate its senior camogie squad and management team for winning the Leinster A championship with a hard-earned victory over a very strong Loreto, Kilkenny outfit. Next up is the All-Ireland semi-final against the Munster champions, Ursuline Secondary School of Waterford, on Saturday, 9 February 2019.
  • We wish a safe and enjoyable trip to our 36 students and 2 teachers who will head away on a week long exchange trip to our sister school, St. Ursula’s, in Villingen, Germany next Thursday. Travelling with the group will be 6 students and a teacher from Wexford C.B.S.
  • Friday, 1 February 2019 is a red letter day for incoming 1st year, current 1st year and 4th year students as it is the deadline for the submission of subject choice forms for 2019/2020. It is hard to believe that detailed planning for next year’s timetable is already well underway. Large numbers of parents attended three information meetings in the school earlier this week in relation to this matter. Students also received detailed input from staff on this process and, for the first time, a Subject Fair will be held for 4th year students next Monday in the course of which senior students will work with teachers in providing subject information to fellow students as they make their selections for next year.
