Katie Kehoe (LC 2025) was presented with a UCD Scholarship at the Awards Ceremony held in UCD on Wednesday, 11 February. She is pictured with Principal Mr McGinnity.

Congratulations to Katie from everyone at Loreto Wexford

Well done to all our equestrian students who competed over the weekend at the recent Equestrian Interschools Ireland leg at Wexford Equestrian.

Our Open team secured an excellent 2nd place, while our Novice team achieved fantastic 1st and 5th place finishes in their respective competitions. There were also plenty of prize winners in the individual events.

Congratulations to all involved on a superb performance!

Well done to second year student Charlotte Stafford on her selection to the Wexford FC under-17 squad for the upcoming League of Ireland season.

Congratulations to the following third-year students who were recognised today for achieving their Bronze Postcard award. This award recognises students who have earned ten or more positive VSWare points:

Evelyn Kehoe, Rosie Kenny, Lily Kearns, Keelin Boggan, Kate Jones, Eve Howlin, Daisy Garry, Cora Roche, Mia Harpur, Aisling Enright, Molly Howlin and Jessica Finn.

Addiction continues to affect many young people, families, and communities across Ireland. Raising awareness, encouraging open conversation, and highlighting pathways to recovery are more important than ever.

Aiseiri Wexford works every day to support individuals and families impacted by addiction, offering hope and real solutions through recovery.

On Saturday, 23rd May, they are hosting the Aiseiri Coastal Run in Wexford — a community event centred on hope, health, and recovery.

A huge well done to our 1st Year camogie team on a fantastic win over Mercy New Ross on Wednesday.

It was a tight, hard-fought battle with excellent scores from both sides, but the girls dug deep and ground out a thoroughly well-deserved victory.

Congratulations girls

Congratulations to the Loreto girls who recently captured the Under-16 South East League title with Wexford Wanderers — a fantastic achievement

It was great to welcome back former Loreto students and current captain and vice-captain of the Wexford Ladies’ Footballers, Aisling Halligan and Ciara Banville, who delivered an excellent session this evening with our Under-14 Ladies’ Football panel.

Our girls thoroughly enjoyed the session, and we are sincerely grateful to Aisling and Ciara for giving so generously of their time and for sharing their experience and words of wisdom.

Well done to our Senior Ladies’ Footballers who won the SETU Carlow 7s Blitz on Tuesday. The girls went undefeated for the day and kicked some terrific football throughout!

Pictured is our Senior Ladies’ Football captain, Sarah Cousins, receiving the trophy on behalf of the panel.

A special mention to Layla Stafford who was picked as one of the outstanding players on the day and was presented with an SETU Carlow jersey.
