State Examinations:
We wish all Junior and Leaving Certificate students the very best of luck as they begin their exams on Wednesday, 5 June. School personnel will be on hand each day to deal with any concerns or issues as they arise.
Summer Holidays:
Today is the final day of the 2023/24 academic year. I wish to thank all members of the school community for their support throughout the year. I wish to acknowledge the effort of all our students. Your work, commitment to Loreto, and dedication to your studies does not go unnoticed and I thank you for the positive contribution you make to our school. I thank all our staff for their professionalism and dedication to the development of each and every student. Finally, I wish to acknowledge the great support received from parents/guardians over the past school year.
Uniform Donations:
In an effort to encourage sustainability and reduce the cost of purchasing school uniforms, we are asking you to please donate any uniform items you no longer need to the school. Items donated must be clean and in very good condition.
Items accepted are:
Coats, jumpers, skirts, trousers, PE tops, PE jumpers.
Please note, we do not accept white shirts.
There will be a box for donations in the reception area from Tuesday 4 June until Friday 21 June.
On Monday 24 June, we invite any parent/guardian or student to come to the school between 10am and 12pm to take any items you may need. There will be no charge for these items, but donations can be made on the day to Wexford Women’s Refuge.
We would greatly appreciate your support with this initiative.
Parents’ Council:
Loreto Parents’ Council kindly donated €100 to our school library. Parents’ Council members pictured here with members of the Library Committee and Mr Gunning our Librarian.

Athlectics:
We would like to wish Lea Bolger, Aoife Walsh, Maria Coone, Cara Kelly and Jelena McNamara the best of luck in the All-Ireland Schools Athletics this weekend.



Transition Year Graduation:
Congratulations to the Transition Year class of 2024 who had their graduation ceremony yesterday.



Ethos Committee:
The Ethos Committee have been working on a project over the past year or so to design signs to be placed outside each classroom in school. The signs explain the significance and meaning of the names of the classrooms around the building. The signs will be in place for August.

Brief Points:
- Information in relation to next year (calendar, booklists, financial information etc.) will be on our website at the end of next week.
- School reports in respect of 1st, 2nd and 5th year students, will be issued via VSware in the coming weeks.
