Board of Management

Annette Cahalane has been elected as the new parent nominee on the Board of Management following the recent retirement of Barbara Foley. The Board wishes Annette well in her new role in Loreto and seeks to place on public record its very deep appreciation of the outstanding contribution made by Barbara over the years.

Parents’ Council

The Loreto Parents’ Council is now up and running for the year and will be planning a number of activities in the coming months. Our new Deputy Principal, John McGinnity, has been given a special liaison role with the Council and will help to ensure that regular updates are provided on this website of the work of the Council.

The Parents’ A.G.M. will be held in the school on Monday, 25 September 2017 at 7.00 p.m. A letter to families about this meeting will be issued shortly.

School musical

Along with the staff and students in St. Peter’s College, we will be staging the very popular musical, West Side Story, in the Dun Mhuire Theatre in early December.

Auditions will be held in the coming week.

Junior Cert. results

We hope that next Wednesday morning will be a memorable one for our 120 TY students when they receive their Junior Cert. results in the school at 09.00. Good luck to all!
