Head Girls 2025/26

Congratulations to Maria Coone and Molly Donoghue on their selection as Head Girls for this school year. We wish both students all the best as they take on this important leadership role. They will be supported by a Senior Council and members of the school management team.

Parents’ Council AGM

The Parents’ Council AGM will take place on Monday next, 15th Sept at 7pm. The agenda for the meeting is as follows;

Open Night 2025

Our Open Night will take place on Thursday the 25th of Sept from 5pm to 7pm. All 5th and 6th class students and parents are invited to attend. For more information regarding admissions please see our school website here

Studyclix Plus

This year, Loreto, Wexford is using Studyclix Plus for all students from 1st to 6th year (excluding 4th year). This has been really successful with our 5th and 6th years over the last number of years and so we look forward to all our students benefiting from this useful study resource. Today, all students have been emailed a code to use when signing up to www.studyclix.ie to access the plus account. Sign up today and get your year off to a flying start! Le Cheile – Connecting Communities

We are looking for a group of older adults who would like to get out of the house more and connect with new friends and students in our school while taking part in organised weekly activities.

We will invite 15 older adults to sign up for a 8 week programme where they will participate in a variety of activities. It will take place in Loreto every Tuesday and Thursday.

Start date: Tuesday 30th September Finish date: Tuesday 2nd December

Tuesdays 4:00-5:30pm: Learn/improve a new skill (1 hour a week)

Learn or develop a skill e.g. cooking, computers/IT/phones, needlework.

This will take place in Loreto for 1 hour a week guided by a member of staff and TY students.

Thursdays 3:30 – 5:00pm: Personal exercise (1 hour per week)

Take part in guided light fun physical activity.

1 hour in Loreto.

We will celebrate the end of the programme with a presentation evening.
